Nkumba International Research Journal
Background
The Nkumba International Research Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal published by Nkumba University since 2021. It needed a professional home where readers can find each issue, and researchers in Uganda and beyond can submit their work.
Solution
We shaped the journal’s website on Open Journal Systems, the publishing platform used by academic journals, in the university’s navy, red and yellow. The homepage highlights the latest conference books and calls for papers, shows the journal’s key details at a glance, and lists the current issue’s papers with their PDFs. Past issues are easy to browse by cover, and clear links take authors to the guidelines and manuscript submission.
