Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information KasiryeLabs collects through this website and when we work with you, what we do with it, and your rights under Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. In short: we only collect what we need to reply to you and deliver our services, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are

KasiryeLabs is a web design, development and digital marketing company based at Hill Lane, Entebbe, Uganda. We are responsible for the information described here. Contact us about your data at [email protected] or +256 757 343 911.

What we collect

  • When you contact us (contact form, project estimator, email, phone or WhatsApp): your name, email, phone number if you give it, and what you tell us about your project or budget.
  • When you use the free website health check: the address of the website you check. If you ask us to email the report, your email and (optionally) your name. If you create a shareable link or badge, that report is public: it contains the website address and its results, not your details.
  • When you become a client: your contact details, your websites, the services you have with us (such as domains, hosting and Website Care) with their renewal dates, and payment records.
  • Basic technical information such as your IP address, used briefly to protect our forms from spam and abuse.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and prepare proposals and quotes you ask for.
  • To deliver and support our services, including renewal reminders by SMS and email, website downtime alerts and receipts.
  • To send the health check report you asked for. We may follow up once about it; we don’t add you to a newsletter.
  • To keep our website and services secure, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We use your information with your consent (for example when you send a form), to carry out an agreement with you, or where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your information. We only share what is needed with the services that help us run our business:

  • Our website host and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up this website and gives us privacy-friendly visitor statistics without cookies.
  • Our email (ZeptoMail by Zoho) and SMS (EgoSMS) providers, to send you messages.
  • Pesapal, when you pay online. We never see or store your card or Mobile Money PIN.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights, which receives the website address you check with our health check. Our contact page shows a Google Map, which is loaded from Google.
  • Domain registrars and hosting companies, when we register or renew a domain or hosting for you.

Some of these providers store information outside Uganda. We choose providers that protect it properly.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If you change the accessibility settings, your choices are saved in your own browser (not sent to us). Logged-in staff use WordPress cookies to manage the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within two years. Client records are kept while we work together and for as long as accounting law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your information sooner unless we must keep it by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, ask us to stop using it or to delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 14 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Office of Uganda (pdpo.go.ug).

Keeping it safe

We use secure connections (HTTPS), limit who can see your information, keep passwords and keys encrypted, and use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

SiteWatch

Our website monitoring service, SiteWatch, has its own privacy policy at app.kasiryelabs.com/privacy.
