These terms apply to the services KasiryeLabs provides and to the use of this website. Your written proposal or quotation sets out the details of your project — scope, price, timeline and payment milestones — and takes priority over these general terms where they differ.
Proposals and starting work
Quotes and estimates (including the online project estimator) are a guide until we confirm them in a written proposal. Work starts once you accept the proposal and make any payment it asks for before starting.
Payments
Payments are due as set out in your proposal or invoice, by Mobile Money, bank transfer, card or another method we agree. If a payment is late we may pause work until it is made. Prices are in Uganda shillings unless stated otherwise.
Your content and approvals
You are responsible for the text, images, logos and other material you give us, and for having the right to use them. Delays in sending content or approvals can move the timeline. Changes outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before we do them.
Ownership
Once you have paid in full, the website or design we made for you is yours, along with the right to use it. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and software stay under their own licences. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Domains, hosting and Website Care
Domains, hosting, email hosting and Website Care plans renew for the period shown on your invoice (for example yearly or monthly). We send renewal reminders by SMS and email before each renewal date, but keeping them paid is your responsibility. A domain or hosting that isn’t renewed in time can stop working and may be lost; we can’t always recover an expired domain. You can cancel a renewal by telling us before its renewal date. Domains registered for you are registered in your name or your business’s name.
Support and warranty
We fix defects in our own work that you report within 30 days of launch at no charge. After that, support and updates are covered by a Website Care plan or charged separately. We aren’t responsible for problems caused by changes made by others, by third-party services, or by your hosting provider if it isn’t one we manage.
Free tools on this website
The website health check, estimator and other free tools give guidance only. Results can vary and aren’t a guarantee of performance, ranking or security. Please only check websites you own or manage.
Limits of our liability
We work carefully and professionally, but we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ugandan law that can’t be limited.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a project in writing. You pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over the finished parts you have paid for.
