BUMU Art Gallery
Background
BUMU Art Gallery brings together artists, exhibitions and selected works from Uganda and beyond, from its home in Mengo, Kampala. It needed a website as considered as the art on its walls, where visitors could see what’s on and get to know the artists and their work.
Solution
We designed and built a calm, editorial website that lets the art lead. A full-screen homepage opens on the current exhibition, followed by showcases, exhibitions, artist profiles and selected artworks. Visitors can browse the shop, buy tickets, join as members or donate, and the journal keeps the gallery’s press and stories in one place.
